Middle Child

I finally got my photos of my Middle Child. I tried to pick just one but, I couldn't.  So you get to see the ones I liked most.  And I couldn't even decide if I liked the color or monochrome.

I think I like the color for the eyes and smiley shots but for the soft smiles I really like the black and white.  I love the subject but, I think I need a reshoot.  He won't give me one today though.

Mommy Ambush

 Hi Mom. (Before.)
Dear powerful and loving God, please make my mom stop taking pictures of me.
Why won't she stop taking pictures of me?

After.

It has been cold

It has been nasty and cold out the past few days.  I am talking about dreary wet cold days.  The kind of days that make the grass sink underfoot and your bones ache for hot drinks.  Today, I went far enough to put on the hat I made on the ride back from our vacation trip.

Anyway, it has made for some really great photos.  I haven't gotten my middle child (facing me) just yet.  But, rest assured, I will.  He doesn't really have patience for mom taking photos of him, or practicing my "skeels" on him.

This is the only pose I could get out of him.  He wasn't feeling so great and was home reading in bed.  Yes, he was reading in bed. Did I say that he was reading in bed? :D

This is my fave out of a 3 minute shoot she allowed me.  We were outside and it was really cold. So, I was as quick as I could be. I like the expression on her face.  But, I couldn't decide if I liked her color or her black and white better.  So, I posted both.
This one was from a set I took during a NFL Playoff game.  I just couldn't watch my team do so poorly.  So, I asked for a few minutes of my midget's time and he graciously obliged.  I had to be quick because he agreed to "only one picture".

I do love my camera.

Christmas Vacation

Here are some of my favorite snaps of our vacation. I wound up with a ton of pics of us in line because there really was no way to take photos while riding the theme park rides.  And the strange thing is that we really didn't wait in line for any ride except maybe the Harry Potter ride.

Proof that I was actually there.

 The apple of my eye.

My tootsies are happy to be going home (even though you can't tell by looking at them).
